The Private Ultrasound Clinic

We aim to provide an ultrasound service that is professional, informative, reassures clients and delivers excellent value for money.

We achieve this by using the latest ultrasound equipment. This is portable, delivering excellent image quality. To get the best from the technology we use staff who are highly experienced and qualified.

The final ingredient is promoting a culture of care, having no time pressures and spending time explaining the findings to patients, their families and friends.

Our people

All of our sonographers are NHS trained, nationally qualified and registered with the Society of Radiographers. In addition to working for The Private Ultrasound Clinic, our sonographers also work for the NHS, either directly or on a self employed basis.

The lead sonographer and director is Susan Davis who has been operating an ultrasound business since 1995. She delivers an ultrasound service at GP surgeries and NHS hospitals in the North East.

Susan is HCPC registered, certified with the Fetal Medical Foundation and a Registered Manager with the Care Quality Commission. She has been involved in research and techniques and has a wealth of experience in obstetrics, gynaecology and abdominal ultrasound.

Graham Davis is the director with responsibility for managing and developing the business. He has over 30 years experience operating at an executive level in the public and private sectors and was a director at a learning trust in Morpeth.

He is a member of the Chartered Institute of Personnel and Development.
